Designate the CMI in PINS

Designation of the CMI in PINS (http://research.ncsu.edu/sparcs/systems-portal/pins/) is an important means for us to track the impact of the CMI WITHOUT impacting indirect costs returns. Those returns will go through your college and department as usual. This is a way to keep track of the impact of the CMI. If you are a NC State faculty member and your proposal meets any of the following criteria, please select the Comparative Medicine Institute (CMI) on the ‘Center’ pull-down menu in PINS: 1) the proposal is the result of a collaboration initiated through CMI activities, 2) CMI funding or a CMI service core was used to generate preliminary data, 3) the proposal will utilize a CMI service core, or 4) a CMI-supported trainee will be involved in the research.
