The Comparative Medicine Institute Award for Chemistry presented at the Interface of Medicine is an award that is given to a graduate student who is selected by a panel of industry and academic judges to represent the most impressive application of Chemistry to solve interdisciplinary problems at the interface of Chemistry, Biology, Engineering and/or Medicine.  The award is presented at the annual Chemistry department poster session in March and supported by the Emerging and Infectious Diseases research program in the Comparative Medicine Institute at NC State.
