Thank you Julie Nettifee

The CMI would like to thank Julie Nettifee for all of her hard work and dedication to our organization. Julie started with the CCMTR in February 24, 2014 and was instrumental in helping with all of the minute details when we transitioned to the CMI. She was hired as part time support to increase outreach, education and funding. During her tenure, Julie was instrumental in establishing our relationship with the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, aiding with organizing several Science Cafés and participating in Night of Science. She also became involved with the Rare Disease Council actively taking part in the Legislative Awareness Day.

Julie was invaluable in helping with a multitude of programs, seminars and symposiums that the Institute has organized in the past years – too many to list individually – and she did so tirelessly. On behalf of the CMI, Julie also worked with the NCVMF in response to donors, developing close ties with Andy’s Army. She even coordinated their recent visit reported in this newsletter.

Julie’s support cannot be measured and her can-do attitude will be missed.

Thank you Julie for all of your hard work.
