FTE Hosts Goal Setting Luncheon at Alumni Center

The Functional Tissue Engineering (FTE) Program hosted a luncheon for its full members on December 11, 2019 at The Dorothy and Roy Park Alumni Center.  Dr. Lauren Schnabel and Dr. Rohan Shirwaiker, Associate Directors of FTE gave a brief overview of their goals for the organization and then the floor was opened up to the members.  They discussed the direction for the Program, the upcoming events and spending of the yearly allocation.

Also, Dr. Ashley Brown and Dr. Lilian Hsiao were announced as the recipients of the Proposal Enhancement Seed Funding (PESF).  The award was $2500 for their proposal entitled Multi-scale mechanical design of printed tissue scaffolds for rapid wound healing.
