Young Scholar Award Program

The Comparative Medicine Institute hosted a Young Scholar Award Program on November 9, 2018.  About 22 Associate Members attended.  After a short introduction by Director Jorge Piedrahita, the Associate Members broke into small groups to discuss their ideas.  They had two hours to develop research collaborative projects for utilizing Summer Interdisciplinary Research Initiative (SIRI) students.  At the end of the two hours, each group could present their project ideas to a panel and receive feedback.  A finalized written proposal is due on November 15 at 5 PM.  Winners will be announced on November 19, 2018.
