Dr. Rainer Storb Seminar

The Comparative Medicine Institute and NC Rare Disease Advisory Council co-sponsored a seminar with Dr. Rainer Storb, Head of Transplantation Biology Program at Fred Hutch. Dr. Storb is a world-renowned scientist and one of the founders of Fred Hutch, a leading cancer research center.

On October 20, he presented, “From Laboratory to Clinic: Allogeneic Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation fro Malignant and Non-Malignant Blood Disorders” at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center.  Dr. Storb has been a research leader in this area for over 50 years and not only shared his knowledge through his formal presentation but was available for one-on-one discussions after the program.
