CMI to Sponsor Interdisciplinary Ideation Event

The CMI, together with the Data Science Academy, the Genetics & Genomics Academy, and the Integrative Sciences Initiative, is hosting “Think, Collaborate & DO: A CMI Ideation Event” on Friday, June 17th from 12:00-5:00 p.m. at the McKimmon Conference & Training Center. This innovative event brings researchers together from all across campus to craft interdisciplinary proposals for over $200,000 in available funding. We expect to fund 5-7 faculty awards of $15-$50k each, along with 5 awards of $10k each for graduate students and postdocs, along with 3 $2500 entrepreneurial supplements and additional support from DSA, GGA, & ISI.
